Hercules
This small-scale geometric print was inspired by the Olympic Games – as founded by Hercules himself, according to legend. The design is formed from intersecting circular and ring forms, in a nod to the iconic appearance of the modern Olympics’ posters and logos. The Tokyo 1964 Olympics were especially innovative and forward-thinking in their design approach, providing a great source of visual inspiration for this pattern.
